About Us
Comdaco was founded in 1963 as a fabricator of molded rubber parts, die cut gaskets, and hand fabricated specialty products. The company has been family owned and operated continuously since 1963. When the founder, John R. Comley, retired in 1993 his sons were ready to continue the traditions of serving our customers with the personal touch. That philosophy continues to this day.
In the 1990’s the decision was made to eliminate die cutting and hand fabrication. Building on the decision to focus on molded rubber products, it was decided to transition from compression and transfer molding to injection molding of rubber products. Comdaco now produces 99% of our products using the injection process. This allows us to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations for quality, delivery, and cost.
In 2004 Comdaco moved to our current facility in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Designing the facility for maximum efficiency has enhanced our ability to serve our customers. We strive to demonstrate our dedication to our customers through every aspect of our company.
